In 2016, 72 Tradeshow Bootcamp Alumni and Speakers exhibited at the National Stationery Show. Fifty of these exhibitors provided responses to our fourth annual TSBC survey.

I started TSBC in 2011 as way to connect with and help other stationery brands. I was three years into running Kelp Designs and was struggling with what I wanted out of my business.

I was doing custom work, selling through my online shop and I was placing most of my time and energy growing my wholesale accounts. Oh, and I had a day job and a couple of kids. No biggie. ;)

Like most of us, I was learning as I went, googling the heck out of things and making mistakes. A lot of mistakes, if I'm being honest.

Running a business is hard. And, even though I had a background in business and my company was growing, something was missing.

I craved community.

I wanted colleagues I could bounce ideas off of, share resources with and high five when things went well!

TSBC was created to lift up our industry, to share our collective knowledge for our collective gain.

In the last 7 years, we've worked with more than 800 independent product based businesses, helping them build profitable, sustainable businesses.

Even if you’re a one person shop, you don’t need to go it alone. We’re here to help you grow, succeed and avoid the mistakes we made growing our businesses.
